The Inno-KONEPS Innovative Product Exhibition as to Heatwave and Heavy Rain

PPS holds the Inno-KONEPS special exhibition for 54 Innovative Products as to heatwave and heavy rain from 55 manufacturers from August 23, 2022 

□ PPS hosts a special exhibition for *Inno-KONEPS Innovative Products used for  prevention and recovery of damage caused by heatwave and downpour fom August 23th

* Inno-KONEPS: A platform where the Innovation Procurement process is managed and supported in an integrated way 

□ The special exhibition was designed to help public users readily find and buy Innovative Products needed for prevention and recovery of human and property losses caused by heat wave and downpours

○ The exhibition displays 57 Innovative Products from 55 suppliers (49 heatwave related products and 8 heavy rain products)

- IOT-based Manhole Cover Sensor: Preventing falling-down accidents through real-time monitoring of manhole cover displacement ‘

- Flood Monitoring CCTV Surveillance: Conducting real-time monitoring flood situation in flood-risk areas

- Eco-friendly Unmanned Passive Floodgate: A powerless apparatus for blocking sewage reversion and thereby preventing low-lying areas from being inundated amid torrential rain

- Intelligent Landslide Detection System: Conducting solar-powered long-hour land slide monitoring, which enables immediate responses to actual landslides 

② 8 Innovative Products for prevention and recovery of heatwave-induced damage

- Cooling Fog System: Reducing fine dust levels and scorching effects of heatwave and providing beautiful landscape lighting mounted on LED street lights in parks and plazas

- Multi-functioning Shade Screen: Providing real-time public and environmental information including on fine dust levels and whether conditions and helping citizens avoid direct sunlight and heat with solar-powered automatic opening and closing functions 

- Heat Shielding Paint: A layer of the cool paint on external walls of buildings blocks sunlight, thereby keeping indoor temperatures cool and preventing deterioration caused by heat absorption
